The Cemetery layout map and the burial information below was researched and compiled by the Bruny Island Historical Society.

All people buried at this cemetery are related in some way to the convicts Anthony Cox and Jane Daly who lived on the Quarantine Station site 1856-1902

KNOWN BURIALS - 2017

1) ANTHONY COX SNR. Died 16th January 1892 aged 87 years. Husband of Jane
Coffin per Ann Allan (undertaker records confirm burial here).

2) JANE COX (Daly) Died 16th September 1902 aged 72 yrs. Wife of Anthony Cox.

3) MARY CHURCHILL (Wisby) & child - died 30th November 1916 – wife of George Churchill.

4) JANE DALY Died pre 1900 [ have not been able to find] possibly wife of Patrick Daly.

5) MICHAEL DELANEY - Died 17th April 1916 – s/o Fenton – h/o Catherine (nee Cox).

6) CATHERINE DELANEY (nee Cox) Died 29th December 1923- daughter of Anthony & Jane Cox.

7) DAWN DELANEY (Fenton’s little girl)? [ have not been able to find].

8) LESLIE MICHAEL (Michael Leslie) DELANEY Died 22nd July 1923 aged 45. h/o Ruby.

9) JAMES WILLIAM DELANEY Died 8th January 1954 aged 63 – s/o Michael & Catherine Delaney.

10) GLORIA DELANEY - Died 6th May 1930 aged 2 years- d/o Anthony Fenton & Florence Brodribb.

11) SUSANNAH FALVEY (nee Cox) Died 22nd June 1921 – w/o Michael Falvey.
* Susannah died at Black Snake Rd. Granton - Coffin per motor launch Blanche Abel – buried in family cemetery (Undertaker records – Keating).

12) MICHAEL FALVEY Died 30th July 1927 - h/o Susannah.

13) [William John] JACK HARWOOD- Died 9th April 1918 aged 34. Killed accidentally at Lauriston through clothing being caught in the shaft of engine [chaff cuter]. Married Frederick & Martha Wisby’s daughter Roberta.

14) FREDERICK WISBY died 31st August 1950 aged 96 – h/o Martha – lived in Oakchester (below).

15) MARTHA WISBY (nee Cox) w/o Frederick died 27th December 1933.

16) JOHN WISBY Died 18th March 1914- baby of Robert & Grace Wisby.

17) AGNES VIOLET WITTISON born 1901 died 1903.

18) ROBERT GEORGE WITTISON buried 30th April 1943 aged 67.
